Have you ever wondered if some of the super fine gold in your material is passing you by?  The “Lil” Gold Trap finds the “fines”.

It’s a vibrating recovery sluice designed to capture the finest of flour gold.   This mighty-might, will process all fines no greater than #20 mesh and classify them down to #600 mesh.

At a recent Gold Show this past spring, a young man had stopped by the demonstration booth to witness the “Lil” Gold Trap in action.  After observing the extent of its abilities, he purchased one and adventured off, taking in the rest of the show.  Only to return some time later….  While wandering the other exhibits he happened across a vendor who was packing up for the day.  Sitting off to the side was a bucket of material.  The inquisitive fellow asked if he could have some of the dirt and was told “take it all, there’s no gold in it.”  Remembering what he witnessed the “Lil” Gold Trap do earlier that day, he requested that this “discarded” bucket of dirt be run through the demo model to test it out.  To his, and other spectator’s amazement, an unmistakable line of yellow immediately began to appear.  By the time the entire bucket had been processed, he walked away with a respectable small amount of gold from this “waste material”; wearing a smile that went from ear to ear knowing that he had a “Lil” Gold Trap of his own.

10" HD Pro Gold Trommel

The people spoke and we listened!

After receiving several comments, and requests, we are introducing an upgrade package to our 10″ Pro Gold Trommel —  the 10″ HD (Heavy Duty) Pro Gold Trommel.

The 10″ HD is the same great Trommel as the standard 10″, only this little beast is on steroids.  To begin with we widened it’s foot print by extending the wheel base, then threw on meatier tread (same as on the 14″); the reason for this evolution was to facilitate the use of an ATV so you can easily get your machine to your work site.   We then, of course, added a tow bar; ’cause how else are you gonna tow it.?  The final upgrade incorporates a three speed transmission, allowing you to further adjust the rate at which you run your material.

We had a wonderful time at the 2012 GPAA  Gold and Treasure Show in Denver.  It was so good to meet many of you and showcase our Pro Gold 10″ and 14″ Trommels.

We drove 831 miles from Boise to Denver with 2 kids, 4 adults and our dog Kiwi.  A few of the places we stopped to stretch the legs were Little America, WY and Golden, CO.  It was good to see different parts of the country.
